In 2020, it's facing a challenge unprecedented in its 94 years, with the coronavirus pandemic making large crowds dangerous. In fact, it'll be vastly different this year; there'll be no audience and parade participants will be drastically reduced for a TV-only event. But it's faced some more pedestrian challenges through the years, too. When you're dealing with giant balloons, intricate ground floats, performances, huge crowds, and live television, anything and everything can go wrong. Here are some of the funniest mishaps from the parade's long history.
