With age comes the worry about various health concerns and illnesses. But, there exist some people who we cannot see ageing. One of them is the Shehenshah of Bollywood, the icon Amitabh Bachchan. Whenever in ill-health, the whole world comes together, praying for his health. Apart from his kidney health, which was much talked about after he said how his kidneys are just 25 per cent function, in his latest blog, he mentions how he might lose his eyesight for he is experiencing various troubles in his vision. He said the same in his blog on how worried he is about his health and mentioned how he almost assumed that blindness was about to come. However, his doctors say that this will not happen.

Doctors Deny, Blindness Will, Not Come
Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan expressed his concern over his blurry eyesight. He was afraid that he might turn blind very soon, about which he poured his heart in his blog. This is what he wrote in his blog - "The eyes they see blurred images, the vision reads double, and for some days, I reconciled myself to the fact that blindness is on its way." In the blog, he even remembered his mother, who would come up with a cure for his eyes. "Thinking of those days when mother used to take her saree pallu's edge, blow into it and place it gently on the eyes. And BAM the problem always saw an end. So following the same, I placed a hot water towel on the eyes."
Amitabh also told that his doctors have assured that he will not be blind. This is because of the extra screen time, which he is giving owing to this lockdown phase. He said that how he is following the doctor's prescription and taking all possible precautions to get rid of the problem."
Some tips to be safe from screen-related eye concerns:
- Relax your eyes for a while
- Often blink your eyelids while looking at the screen
- Keep your smartphone's brightness low
- Hold your smartphone from a distance
- Switch off your phone before going to sleep
- Adjust screen brightness and contrast
- Keep washing your eyes with cold water
